About the project
Problem
Over 14 million college students in the US are shifted from on-ground to online courses. This creates barriers to socially interacting with other students.
Students in online classes miss out on emotional cues, and online courses create a gap in the mental image
between online and reality.
Solution
TOKU is a virtual world designed to provide a virtual school setting for a natural meeting and conversation. The chat and collaborative game features help users to build
a social bond with peers.
